Rules Of The Game classic movie by Jean Renoir
Another great film to watch today for “staffing human life” and seeing a glimpse of grand life in 1930’s France is The Rules of the Game (La Règle du Jeu), a satire on contemporary French society with an ensemble cast. You will enjoy this wise story by one of the greatest directors, Jean Renoir (who also plays Octave), a wonderful performance by the French film master. Released in 1939 at the beginning of the war, widely regarded as one of the greatest films ever made.
