Vinegar for Pets: We love VINEGAR. It is a magnificent discovery with literally hundreds of uses and has been around for some 10,000 years. Here are just a few of the things you can do with this incredibly versatile liquid.
Include a teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar to your dog’s drinking water. It provides added nutrition, gives a shinier healthier-looking coat, and acts as a natural deterrent to fleas and ticks. You can also fill a spray bottle with equal parts vinegar and water and apply directly to dogs coat. Rub it in well for added protection. The word “vinegar” derives from the Old French vin aigre, meaning “sour wine.”
A wonderful homeopathic product for stressed out pets is Rescue Remedy by Bach Flower Remedies. They can easily be found in local health food stores or ordered on line. A couple of drops of Rescue Remedy in your pets bowl of water will assist them to stay happy and calm.
This remedy is also terrific as a first aid kit. Good for cuts, scratches, bruises, sprains, and any trauma, or stress when you travel long distance with your pets. It is easily transported in your bag since it comes in small bottles with a stopper.
